Step 1: Generate Your Mailchimp API Key


  1. Log in to your Mailchimp account.
  2. Click your profile icon (top right) → choose Profile.






  3. Go to Extras → API keys.








  4. Click Create A Key, name it something like "BotSailor", then click Generate Key.





  5. Copy the API Key immediately. You won’t be able to see it again later.








Step 2: Add the API Key to BotSailor

  1. Go to your BotSailor dashboard → navigate to Settings → Responder Integration.

  2. Click New to add a new profile.

  3. Select Mailchimp from the sidebar options.

  4. Enter a Profile Name and paste the API Key you copied earlier.
